Volunteer at Cambodia Teen Challenge
Women traditionally carry out the bulk of volunteer work. Women and girl volunteers around the world contribute significantly to household and community welfare and economic advancement through work done in the home, such as caring for children and housework, as well as work done in the community and informal sectors. This work is typically seen as an extension of the traditional role of women and is often undervalued and unrecognised – not considered ‘real work’.
CTC’s volunteer program expresses the ministry’s commitment to non-exploitation of paid and unpaid workers by challenging the traditional privileging of paid work and making visible and valuable women’s labour.
Here are some of the volunteering work you can contribute to our CTC:
- Admin/Clerical
- Leadership training
- Conducting Bible Study
- Training/Counseling
- Building Projects/repair of houses
- Stories writing/Photograph making/filming
- Marketing/fundraise tool production
- Children ministry training
- Children outreach and fun days in the ministry sites
- Evangelism with our team of street ministry
